By completing an e-application for plan review, you can save up to 15 minutes of processing time in the One Stop Shop. You choose the location most convenient to you. Terminals are provided in the One Stop Shop, or complete on-line from your home or office.

The on-line plan review application is not needed for an attached residential patio cover, detached garage/storage shed, carport enclosure to garages or masonry fence/walls.

You can use the Standard Details provided online under the heading Residential Improvements Submittal Guidelines.

Walk-in plan submittals are processed until 4pm Monday-Friday.

Please Note:  If you do not have a legally assigned address, you cannot use this application.  For addressing information, contact the Records Counter at 480-312-2356 or submit your address request online at Records.

Instructions on how to use the Application

 There are six easy steps to processing your application online -

 

1.      Select your project category. There are only six options:  single family
     residential, multi-family residential, commercial, fire, improvement/civil
     plans, and land division maps (plats).
 

2.      Identify the project type. The options vary by project category, and include new construction, remodel, addition, custom home, green building, and tenant improvements, to list a few.  You need to know your project type to continue.

3.      Enter your project location.  This step allows the system to search through our current property records, and pulls in the property record so you don’t have to manually enter basic information.  Use the least amount of data as possible to get the best results.

4.      Verify the address.  This should be the exact legal address of the project location.  

5.      Complete the application.  The information needed should be on your plans.  If you don’t have this information, One Stop cannot accept your application. 

6.      Review and edit.  Please verify your information before you submit.  You can print out your application by clicking on the print button at the bottom of the application or use the browser toolbar.

 

When you submit your application, you will be given an application number.  Write this number down!  You will need it when you get to the counter to process your plans.  A counter representative will pull up your application and the data you entered to be auto-filled into our system.
