List Organization

The list is organized by revenue catagories similiar to those used in the City's financial structure and Five-Year Financial Plan.

It has four "tiers" of data.  Each tier catagories the 1,600+ rate/fee amounts by similarity.  Thus, as you navigate through each of the four tiers, the rate/fee becomes more and more specific.  Click on the Open Symboland Close Symbol symbols to open and close each level of the listing.

  • Taxes - Sales tax, property tax, and taxes collected from other agencies.
  • Special Assessments - Include revenue collected from property owners within an Improvement District. Districts are formed when owners desire improvement to their property, such as roads, water lines, sewer lines, streetlights, or drainage.
  • Business Licenses, Permits & Fees - Includes revenue from various business licenses, liquor license fees, alarm fees, and regulatory license fees.
  • Development Permits & Fees - Includes all fees recovered as a part of the development process such as building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing permits, as well as subdivision, zoning, and plan check fees.
  • Recreation & Human Services Rentals & Fees - Includes revenue from the various recreational programs, classes, entry fees listed by facility location.
  • WestWorld Rentals and Fees - Includes WestWorld Equestrian Facility event revenue.
  • Court Fines & Forfeitures - Includes court, parking, and photo radar.
  • Library Fines, Fees & Rentals - Includes library fines and rental fees.
  • Interest Earnings & Property Rental - Includes interest earnings generated on idle General Fund cash balance throughout the year and property rental fees on facilities such as the Scottsdale Stadium, as well as amounts received from the Tournament Players Club and Princess Hotel for percent of revenue on gross sales agreements.
  • Other Revenue  - Includes contributions from the Tourism Sports Authority and County Sports Authority (TSA and CSA) for the repayment of the Giants professional baseball practice facility.
