“Worth a 1000 Words,” on Thursday, May 4, 2017, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM on Scottsdale’s fabled ArtWalk path (Marshall Way north and south of Indian School Road and Main Street between Scottsdale Road and Goldwater Boulevard), will be a festive evening under the glorious desert sky to pay homage to the photographic arts. Red carpet stations will be placed throughout the walk for you to stop and have your picture taken! Dress up in your finery, join in the fun, and post your photo on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #a1000wordssga. We will also be having an old-fashioned treasure hunt! Twelve special prizes will be hidden throughout our member galleries. If you find the treasure, it’s yours to keep! Pictures of the treasures will be posted on our website www.scottsdalegalleries.com closer to the ArtWalk. Stop in at the Courtyard on Main—Southwest corner of Main Street and Marshall Way— and cool off with a drink from Beam Suntory! We will have a refreshment station set up.
