This form can only be used for Fire Hydrant Flow Test Permits on Fire Hydrants within the City of Scottsdale and their distribution water line system.

If you are testing hydrants on or near City boundaries please contact 480-312-5750 for assistance in verifying the correct municipality.

To have someone added to the “Contractor Information” list, call the One Stop Shop during regular business hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm at 480-312-2500.

Please be as accurate and specific as possible with the Flow Test location (i.e. 1st hydrant on 73rd Street, north of Camelback, or 7447 E. Indian School Road) Two (2) working days’ notice is required prior to scheduling your flow test.

Please email your request to the area inspector, copying their supervisor, providing a direct cell phone contact with your request to schedule.

Flow Tests will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00am - 8:00am during the summer months April - October and the hours of 7:00am - 9:00am during the winter months November - March.

Flow Test companies are responsible for any clean up associated with testing. Please have tools (flat shovels & brooms) available on site for technicians.
