Police Report
Departmental Report (DR): Taken when there are Criminal Charges, Vehicle Impounds, Accidents, Lost property or Vehicle inspections
Call For Service (CFS): A briefly typed entry of a call in the computer aided dispatch system. Created when a citizen or officer contacts Scottsdale Police 911 dispatch
Field Interview Card (FI): Informational in nature, completed when no criminal charges are filed, nor a departmental report were taken at time of police contact
Media requests including: Body Worn Camera, Mugshots, Photos, 911 recordings and/or interviews.
Please note all of the items may not be available for every request.
Accident Report - For Immediate Electronic Download
The Scottsdale Police Department has partnered with CARFAX CrashDOCS to provide our accident reports online for convenience and secure access. You will need the last name of an involved driver, date of accident, the Departmental Report number (DR#) and a valid credit card to access your report for a quick and easy download. Any related incident report(s) or media items (photos, 911 recordings, etc.) will need to be requested through the Scottsdale Police Department Records Unit using the Police Report option above.
Accident Report - Via Scottsdale Police Department
If you prefer, you may still request the Accident Report directly through the Scottsdale Police Department,
although the processing will take longer.
Please note per state statute there are no victims in accident reports,
thus all involved parties will need to pay $5 for a copy of the report or may choose to come in to records and view a copy of the report.
